Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer and fashion model. After achieving fame through his performances on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow he appeared in more 20 feature films including The Core. In addition, he has appeared on over 22 TV shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma at age 14, and has battled this disease since. In two years, the cancer has gone into remission. His body was badly affected by treatment, and his development was slowed down. Since he grew up in poor circumstances, he was determined to be financially secure. In an interview, he mentioned that if I don't achieve financial stability or I feel out of control in the world, then I'm going to feel miserable. Looking back at his own youth and his desire to do something about the issue of bullying. DJ states "Cruelty causes pain to my heart." In real life and on the screen, DJ could like to be a father. He isn't chosen by the director to fill these roles, but he says. It would be wonderful to someday be a parent himself, when he will be able spend less time on career and spend more time with his son.
